The comparisons between my game last year, and the globy award games!
Obviously the "Globy Award" games are winners! They're professional, wonderfully edited, great codes, great ideas and amazing grafics!
However, our games (Mine) is not even completely finished, sloppy, poor codes and bad graffics!
The reasons why they are "winners" are obvious! Even though the differences are easy to see, there are some simularities! I will start first with pointing out the most simple, and then go onto to less known things.
1) They're both games
2) They both are "fun"
3) They are both educational
4) They both involve globaloria
5) HOPEFULLY they have codes
6) It took teamwork!
7) They have been reviewed by our teachers
8) They were both entered in the globaloria game contest
I am sure there are plenty of more both simularities and differences! But those are just the few that comes across my mind! Seeing the "Globy Award" games i think will push us all to try harder! Even though i'm sure all of our games had plenty of HARD, DEMANDING, TIME CONSUMING, work put into them, sometimes it's not enough! And sometimes, it's exactly enough!
"Always try harder" is a great lesson from this, and realizing the simularities and differences is a great exercise for helping us with that mission!
