Today (May, 25, 2012) is the last Friday in my 7th grade year that will be in Globaloria. Every Friday, we blog, && this is our last blog this year! We were told to make a blog at the beginning, posting on it every Friday, and at the time, we had no idea what was in store for us, how hard it would be, and what it would be about.
The beginning started off rough, but dilatable. We first started off just doing Game Demos and Mini Games, but only a few months into the class, we began our game. That was the hard part! Codes were more difficult than anything I had dealt with.
My partner ad I worked SUPER hard to make sure our graphics were good, our codes were correct, and game was intelligent. Working together with a partner was something new to most of us, and it took awhile to get comfortable with us. Luckily, we all comprehended, and we talked whenever we got a free chance, and by that, we became better friends and working partners!
Our teacher (Mr. Addair) was fairly new to Globaloria himself and it was a GREAT learning experience for ALL of us. Although he couldn't always give us the correct answer, we always managed to get the information somehow, usually from the helpdesk, and we were ERY willing to share the info with others to help him out!
In summary, Globaloria is a HARD class. It comes with many struggles, and sometimes it's so complex that you just have to walk away for a second, take a breather, and then come back and give it your best. It is however, a WONDERFUL learning experience when you just set back, look at all your work, and enjoy it.
