Game Demo

We created our game demo to show our ideas that we have about our game. We were able to make an item move, which I personally think showed that we were capable of making a game. We were able to get advice that was very useful from our classmates and from the globaloria experts.

My partner and I tried extremely hard to keep good pace and neither to shout nor mumble.  We were very nervous but we understood that if we messed up, how embarrassed we would be or if they would catch that and say something about it.

Game Demo Presentation

During our game presentation you should speak about things on every slide, even if it is purhaphs a Primary GAme Scene and it has no words, then you should talk about that slide. Tell what you do on it and things like that.

You should have at least 7 slides. Including, Primary game scene, Game play, Instruction scene, Game title, Fun factor, Smart factor, Learning goal, and Originality Factor.

You need to speak loud enough for people tto understand yuo good enough also. You shoukd have decorations on evry page also. Mak eit unigue and original.

Our GAme Skeleton

Three things that was hard with our game skeleton was, finding good decoration, decided how to word things, and how to make our person move. In my blog, not only will I discuss the issues that I had with it but also the simplest parts. Picking beautiful colors was very simple for me, Picking fonts, and mostly just experimenting with Flash.

Finding good decorations was difficult because this is my first year of globaloria and Flash was something new for me so I wasn't familiar with it. It was hard to find good decorations that I liked because I didn't know how to find certain things or if they would be pretty or not.

Deciding how to word things was hard too because I didn't know how to say pacific things and I really had to think about it, but it seemed like every time I was about to type, It just wouldn't come out right for some odd reason. I had to work really hard to find good words to put on our game skeleton.

The hardest, most difficult thing I had to do though was be able to make our person move. I still wasn't too familiar with flash and codes are still difficult for some more experienced students. I didn't know where to go to find the codes or were to put them because I had practically forgotten everything since the rabbit and carrot experiment.

While Presenting

If you or anybody else is presenting something then you should make sure that you talk firm and loud, Stand straight and try not to stutter. You SHOULD talk with expression,

While presenting your game skeleton you need to speak with expression. This means if, for example, you’re saying something interesting then your tone should catch somebody’s attention. The viewers could get more into the mood of your presentation which will make you a better presenter.

You should also Talk loud enough so that people don’t have to strain to hear you because then they won’t be comfortable and won’t enjoy it. Also talk clear so people won’t just catch parts and skips of it, but precisely all of it. Talking loud will also catch their attention.

You need to stand up straight too, because it’s more proper and while giving a presentation you need to be as proper as possible. It will make you look more sophisticated also, which is always a good thing in my opinion.

Also, plan out the words in your head before you say 5them so that it will decrease your chances of stuttering. Stuttering can be a bad habit and will possibly lead to embarrassment later on. If you pre plan then that will help.
